About
How far have we come towards an accessibility Canada for persons with disabilities today? This CAN Connect Forum will bring together national leaders to share best practices on data measurement of persons with disabilities.
Speakers will share promising approaches to accessible data collection and analysis and discuss the indicators that can help organizations understand how much progress they have made in accessibility so far, what is missing, and how to best achieve their accessibility goals. Participants will gain strategies to support policy, accountability, and measurable change. The forum will highlight useful resources that organizations can apply in their own work. This session is designed for government representatives, accessibility leaders, researchers, policymakers, data and evaluation professionals, service providers, community organizations, and persons with disabilities who want to strengthen how accessibility progress is measured and advanced across Canada.
